1. Lozen Monastery "St. Apostles Peter and Paul"
Archaeological findings from the 12th–14th centuries suggest the presence of a settlement, though no definitive evidence of a monastery exists.
Local legends speak of a large monastery destroyed during the Ottoman conquest, with the area later known as "The Cemetery."
A small chapel was built here in the early 20th century, frequented by Tsar Boris III during his stays at the nearby Vrana Residence.
Free time to explore the monastery.
Departure for Kremikovtsi Monastery "St. George the Victorious."
2. Kremikovtsi Monastery "St. George the Victorious"
Believed to have been founded during the reign of Tsar Ivan Alexander (1331–1371), with verified history from the late 15th century.
Destroyed during the Ottoman conquest of Sofia in 1382 and rebuilt in 1493 by the nobleman Radivoy in memory of his children lost to the plague.
The church underwent further renovations after damage caused by earthquakes in 1503 and again in 1611.
Free time to explore the monastery.
Departure for Chepintsi Monastery "The Three Holy Hierarchs."
3. Chepintsi Monastery "The Three Holy Hierarchs"
Located near the Thracian burial mound "Golema Mogila," approximately 2 km from the village of Chepintsi.
